    1. Danke dir, Jochen. Deine Worte sind ein Geschenk.

  3. I think someone left their R2D2 parked outside in the rain. =)

  4. Has your rain turned cold yet? Ours is still warm, like the end of summer more than the beginning of autumn. Isn’t it funny to spell ‚autumn‘ with an ’n‘ at the end? (Old French + Latin = Middle English) = a language with far too many silly rules, exceptions and spellings.

    1. It was a very nice day in autumn, not too cold, but chilly. I was walking fast, so I didn’t feel cold :o) … I think English language is lovely and wonderful for poets, much more poetic than clumsy German …

      1. I don’t know much about other languages…a little Spanish, a bit of French and German. English is good for poetry isn’t it? I wonder why that is? Well, for me it is because it is the only language I know well enough to use. You seem to be able to use German and English to write very well!

      2. English is round and lovely, like soft shiny bubbles in the air … a tender and also powerful language to point out some things better than in any other language. Sometimes I dream in English. Sometimes I can write poems only in English. I grew up with black & white Western Movies and Screwball Comedies, so the sound of the voices of Katharine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy, Cary Grant, James Steward (Mr. Smith goes to Washington!!!!) and so on put somethin‘ in my ear which keeps on having it’s influence on me. And I loved Shakespeare as a child (still do, of course :o) ), I did not understand what he was talking about, but it sounded beautiful, excited me completely and … it made me want to learn the language so that I could read the original.

      3. I grew up with those movies and actors also! I recently watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington. It is one of my all time favorites! The Marx Brothers were also a big part of my childhood and Humphrey Bogart…I fell in love with him and Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca. Him more than her but then she was so lovely I couldn’t resist her charms. Somehow we were raised on separate continents yet still we are brother and sister…the world is a magical place.

„…like soft shiny bubbles in the air…“ beautiful description of a language.

      4. Yes, it is 😊… the world a magical place …
