I have not been on too many places in the world, but I really believe and feel the Grand Canyon is one of the most Sacred Places on Earth, and no tourist will ever change this – the spirit is so much more powerful than all efforts of humans to destroy beauty could possibly be. It struck me, and I still am under shock. Again I made the experience that I will never be the same again. I saw the awe on the faces of many other people there, and I saw it on my lovers face, too.
I must apologize: it was not possible for me as a beginner to photograph this place. I tried, but of course I failed. You must be a real master to catch its spirit. Nevertheless I want to share this with you. We have to be grateful that there are people who really care to protect this beauty for other generations to come and see and give them the feeling of miracle and wonder …
