1. If you could have been born in another country which one would that be?
Wenn du in einem anderen Land geboren wärst, welches würde das sein?
USA. The Wild West. Whenever I enter the States I have the feeling of coming home. It’s the ground, my soul’s place. I think, if it has an origin, it was somewhere around the Grand Canyon where it saw the world the first time ever.
2. What`s your favorite color and why?
Welche ist deine Lieblingsfarbe und warum?
I have had many favorite colors. When I was young it was red. And green. I still like the colors. But I love pink now. I hated pink when I was young. Now I am old enough to love it ;o) … And I love blue. I love turquois, petrol, oh, I can’t really decide, I am sorry, I love the colors of the world :o)
3. Do you work in the profession of your wishes/dreams?
Arbeitest du in deinem Traumberuf?
I am a working class girl ( well, to be precise, woman ;o) ). I pay my bills with a job in the social field which gives me lots of insights I would not have if I’d “just” be a writer. Or a photographer. And if I wouldn’t write or photograph I would not have the views of life I have in doing so (and lovers see the world as lovers, parents as parents, artists as artists, manager as manager … so, in real, there is never a “just”)
I believe we have the right to be happy (whatever we may work as). But we not always have the opportunity to really live the life we wish to live. That doesn’t mean one is a looser or a victim. It just means: you’ve got to live YOUR very own life. Learning to see the present in what IS. And being kind. That’s not always easy, a real challenge.
I have worked in many fields. The social field gave me the most precious insights.
There is no thing such as “Traumberuf”. You hear a call and you follow. That’s it.
4. Is there an animal you would call „soulmate“?

Yes. I’ve written poems about it and took photographs :o)
5. For the Germans: Will you go to the polls this year? For the ones from other countries: Do you go to the polls in general?

Thank you! For the questions: (1) Most of my journeys are in my mind and I usually post a poem regarding them. (2) I think I know what my heart is yearning for, but I am often fooled. (3) I try to smile daily. I have heard that smiling (and yawning even) is a good way to strengthen the brain, but it goes beyond our individual selves to the others who see the smile. (4) I rarely use my phone in public except to take pictures and answer calls which are rare. (5) I dream every night and the thoughts upon wakening in the morning are the most enlightening of the day.

Mein Seelentier ist übrigens der Vogel.
Welcher?
Kein bestimmter. Einfach Vögel. :-D
Ich schaue z.B. den einheimischen gerne zu. Amseln, Spatzen, Kohl- und Blaumeisen, Rotkehlchen, Stieglitze (letztere beiden sieht man selten). Im Winter füttern wir Vögel immer und dann kommen meistens Amseln und es gab schon Winter, da war fast den ganzen Tag immer eine bestimmte da. Ist dann so schön, ihnen in Ruhe zuzuschauen.
Oder jetzt gerade die Flugmanöver der Stare, die sich immer ab August hier versammeln.
Manche Vögel berühren mich vielleicht weniger als andere, aber sonst ist es eigentlich kein spezieller Vogel.
Krähen/Raben faszinieren mich jedoch.
Ich habe auch letztens spontan beschlossen, mir Vogelsilhouetten aufs Handgelenk tätowieren zu lassen. ^^
Dein vogel kann dann an meinem pelz picken um haare für sein nest zu haben….hat Spaß gemacht der award. Und heute habe ich auch mein zweijähriges jubiläum ….

Das gibt es ja tatsächlich, dass Vögel sich aus dem Pelz von anderen Tieren Nester machen.
