Past
like fallen leaves,
drying
before
crumbling into
dust.
The present
of now
is
bloom
& shines
like the silvery moon
at the dark so dark
night.
A miracle
new
though
everlasting everlasting
in life.
So why,
my sweet heart,
do you grieve
about the
fierce cold
of winter, just gone by?
Snow & ice will melt,
give to soil
the moisture needed
for future harvest,
some time
in high summer coming
& then,
my dear,
comes
the fall
of all.
